Alternative dispute resolution is nothing new to the Firm, having participated in many different forms to save our clients both time and money in the litigation process. Over the past few years, the Firm has had the opportunity to see that it works! 

The Firm wishes to be more of a part of the resolution process. To that end, Rasmus has completed the 40-hour basic training at the University of Texas Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution.

In these areas, I can maintain neutrality but still provide respect and comfort in working toward resolution.”

The Rasmus Firm is conveniently located in downtown Austin, with easy private parking, accessibility, and a comfortable and private environment promoting conciliation and resolution of disputes. 

Mediation fees include preparation time, the mediation session, lunch and parking.

Full-day mediation:

• 2-party mediation - $850 per party
• 3-party mediation - $750 per party
• 4-party mediation - $700 per party
• 5 or more parties - negotiable

If a full-day mediation goes beyond 8 ½ hours, an hourly rate of $250.00 will be charged, shared equally by the parties.

Half-day mediation:

• $500 per party
• 4 or more parties – negotiable

If a half-day mediation goes beyond 4 hours, an hourly rate of $250.00 will be charged, shared equally by the parties.

While special circumstances may result in cancellation of a mediation session (and will be taken into account), if a session is cancelled or postponed within 48 hours of its scheduled date, a cancellation fee may be assessed as follows:

• Full-day mediation: $500 per party
• Half-day mediation: $250 per party
